Illustrated picture postcards on Gotthard 2016 stamps

Two Picture Postcards, depicting its two locomotives starting at the railway Station at Esterfeld and at the last railway station at Bodio, show the coloured stamp imprints on the reverse, with the landscapes as seen at these two Points. These showing the locomotive 176 440 FS on issued for Erstfeld Railway Station & the other showing locomotive 2000 N0. 176 440-7 on the postcard issued for Bodio Railway Station. Also the printed stamps on the reverse of the postcards, worth one Frank, show the Mail “Cargo” & Passenger Engines. The picture postcards with stamp-imprint are valid for correspondence within Switzerland.

Days of India in Deutschland

The special postmark provided by India Post showed the same design, but instead the “post horn” (the logo of the German Post) it showed the logo of India Post. Interestingly (especially for Berlin-collectors) is the fact that the Indian postmark shows the German city-name and zip-code “10117 Berlin”

Special Cine Flight Carried Cover

Such phenomenon was witnessed earlier when Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit movie series released. In 2012, Air New Zealand launched ‘Hobbit’-themed flights. A Boeing 777-300 promoted “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” & a Boeing 777-200 was set up for “The Hobbit: There & Back Again”. The airline ran a similar promotion for “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy.

Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polkadot Bikini

The bow tie first entered the scene as a new style of necktie in the beginning of the 19th century; a modification of its predecessor, the cravat. By the mid 1880s, the bow tie had become a staple in the fashion conscious man’s wardrobe. Since its introduction and mass acceptance into men’s dress, the bow tie has experienced a great many changes in form and function and has transcended its purely formal and traditional stereotype. From street style, to the runway, to celebrity fashion, the bow tie has been reappropriated into a variety of different looks, breaking it free from the mold it once held as a purely formal accessory.
